My grandfather had 3 sons. Not 2. Thomas McDaniel, 1st born, to him and his first wife. Monty McDaniel, 2nd born, to him and his first wife. Preston McDaniel, 3rd, his adopted son, but just as much his real son in his heart...with his surviving present wife, Georgia McDaniel/Lou, whom is also Preston's biological mother. The two of them together had Janie, oldest daughter and then Melissa/Misty, the youngest.

The strength of his character, the conviction of his faith, the loyalty to his country and his overwhelming love for his family sets him high above all others. Always doing the right thing regardless how difficult the path may be...never waivering from what was right. The world is more sad of a place without you.

My sweet Uncle Buddy was the epitome of Christianity. He was full of grace, mercy and forgiveness. I missed way too much time with him. I know he is no longer in pain and his family are the ones hurting and I’m truly sorry. Love to you all. Paula
