Wendell was one of the most honest, fair and non-judgmental persons I've ever known. It was a pleasure to have worked for him at Bayer. I am so glad he is now out of the terrible pain he has had to endure; he was always in my prayers and I truly believe he is now in heaven where there is no pain. Shirley - you, Jay and Michael were in my prayers as well and still are. Larry and I send our deepest sympathy to you, and may God bless you and be there with you at this difficult time.

Lue and I are so sorry that Wendell is gone. We loved him and will miss him. I am sure that the immediate family will miss him even more. He was a dear man and great with the grand kids. Mixed emotions at such a time. No more pain and suffering for him. However, Heaven's gain is still our loss. I am honored that you have invited me to speak at the graveside service. Our prayers are with you.
