So sorry to read about Joe's passing. Over the years I didn't see your family, but when I did it was such a treat and a joyful, happy occasion.
My Dad was Jack Duke. I like that Brent posts happenings of the family so that I can keep up with some ot the happenings.
My sincere condolences to the entire family for you loss. Prayers you way.

Joe will be sorely missed. He was an awesome man who showed everyone of us the type of person that God wants us to be. Compassionate, caring, sharing and serving. Rest in peace, friend.

God blessed me as well as others in our family with a wonderful brother. He always came to help, never asked for money, always willing to tirelessly "cure" someone's a/c and the best BBQ ever. I am so blessed that God let me know when Joe accepted Christ as his Savior in a revival in Oak Ridge North held by Gerald Roe. He is now face to face with Jesus Christ our Savior, our High Priest and I will one day get to see him again. What a day that will be when our Jesus we will see as well as a wonderful brother, Joe Duke.

You were always going so fast, no one could keep up with you. Will hang on to the good memories and throw out the very few petty ones. Co-worker, bowler and friend, you will be missed by all.
Time to slow down and enjoy the peace you deserve.
Bless You on your new journey.

He’ll always be uncle Joe to me. As a kid at the family gatherings, (Lane City way back when) he had as much energy as the youngsters. Will never forget how he would holler at the TV when the Cowboys were playing...LOL. Never a dull moment when he was around. Rest In Peace Big Man.

Joe was a very dear friend and co-worker, he will be missed dearly. In our younger years, we had a great time with each other.
Families would visit almost every weekend, those were the good old days. You will be missed.

Joe was one of the most special and unique people I have had the pleasure of knowing. He would always brighten my day when he stopped by the office for a visit. I would never know what story, joke or saga he would relay, but he never failed to make me laugh! In this world of uncertainty and unreliability, Joe was a rare constant (a rock) that you could count on. He was the real deal!! I will miss you Joe Duke, rest in peace my friend. My deepest condolences to his family.

I am so blessed to have known Joe. I couldn't wait to see him every Monday. He was always ready with a comeback for whatever joke, jab, or sarcastic remark I had for him. I miss Joe already and am praying for his family. God bless you all.
