Obituary of Loyd Roscoe Harris, Jr.

Loyd Roscoe Harris Jr. “Sonny” was born on December 6, 1943 in Houston, TX to Neoma & Loyd Harris. He grew up with one sister (Denene) and one brother (Gary). Sonny loved spending his days fishing, entertaining friends and family and tending to his land in Hillister, Texas. He was a great storyteller and loved settling down to a great western. Sonny loved attending Sunday Meetings and fellowship with his congregation. He had a passion for building on his land and there wasn't anything he couldn't fix. To his friends and family he was The Greatest. He is survived by his loving wife, Aurora Harris, Sister Denene Bammel, Brother Gary Harris, 9 children, several grand children, nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 1 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Woodville, Texas
