It has been an honour and a privilege to have known Sonny and the world is a far sadder place for his passing.
Both Sue and myself have wonderful memories of him. Being at the country, in Houston and a social occasions, he was a gregarious, generous, loving, larger than life, true gentleman. Talking about history and laughing with a beer in hand, I shall miss him.
Both Sue and my own thoughts and love are with you all Stateside and please let us know if there is anything that we can do to help.
