Obituary of Theo Lea Mingle

Theo Lea Mingle, 92, of Woodville passed away on August 26, 2014. She was born on February 18, 1922 in Las Cruces, NM to Corbit and Mildred Schultz Holmes. She was well known in the community and will be missed by all who knew her. Theo was preceded in death by her husband, James Dee Mingle, Jr.; her son, Darrel Mingle; and her great-granddaughter, Shiloh Mingle. Those left to cherish her memories are daughter Teri Mingle of Lufkin, TX; son Jim Mingle and his wife Susan of Colmesneil, TX; grandchildren Tara Kirby, Ashley Bryan, Derek Grimes, James Paul Mingle, and Eric Mingle; great-grandchildren Corbit Mingle, Haley Bryan, Elysabeth Bryan, Darion Grimes, and Jamey Kirby; sister Willie Mae Barclay of Livingston, TX; and brolther Tommy Holmes of Conroe, TX. Services will be held at Riley Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 10:00 am with Brother Roy Dale Birkelbach presiding. She will be laid to rest at Antioch Cemetery in Woodville, TX. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Riley Funeral Home.
