Obituary of Earnest Cornelius Hight

Earnest “Buddy” Cornelius Hight, 67, of Spurger passed away August 3, 2014. Born June 12, 1947 in Spurger, Texas to the late Hubert and Fern Crosby Hight, he lived in Spurger all of his life. He was retired from the paper mill as a mill wright. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew and loved him. Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Nancy Morgan Hight; sons, Earnest Hight, Jr of Nederland, Greg Hight of Wylie and Ronnie Odom of Vidor; sisters, Barbara Moore of Austin and Eve Locke of Beaumont; brother, Harold Hight of Spurger; twelve grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
