Obituary of Clyde Joseph Seymour, Sr.

Clyde “Buddy” Joseph Seymour, Sr., 71, of Woodville passed away July 18, 2014. Born February 3, 1943 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Alfie and Natalie Fridley Seymour, he lived in Woodville for many years. He was a retired iron worker for Local 125 and was the Vice President of the local union. He was a member of Hillister Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge #1430 in Lumberton, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Tina Caldwell. Clyde is survived by his loving wife, LaMerle Seymour; son, Clyde Seymour, Jr. and wife, Angie of Warren; brother, John Seymour of Nederland; grandchildren, Brayndon McHenry and wife, Nicki, Hunter McHenry and Dominic Seymour; great grandchildren, Kamden McHenry and Marley Spears; and other family members and friends. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at the Hillister Baptist Church in Hillister, Tx with Brother Clark Mahoney officiating. Burial to follow at the Beech Creek Cemetery near Spurger, Tx. Visitation will be held Monday from 5 -8 pm at Riley Funeral Home in Woodville, Tx. Family ask that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Hillister Baptist Church Family Life Center, P.O.
