Obituary of Johnny Mack Carter

With sad hearts, the family of Johnny Mack Carter announces his passing September 30, 2019 after being in poor health. He was born in Beaumont, Texas on May 21, 1956 to Granville and Margie Carter. Johnny lived in Beaumont most of his life before moving to Warren in the late 80s. He was an avid fisherman; he gave up deer hunting later in life but kept a feeder in his yard to enjoy them.

Johnny was loved by many and will be terribly missed. He is preceded in death by his father and stepmother; Granville and Paula Carter, stepfather and mother; Louis and Margie Lichenstein, and brother Steve Carter. Johnny is survived by his brother Jerry Carter and wife Brenda of Warren, Daughters Kelli and husband, Tim Scroggins of Woodville; Katie and Colby Smith of Warren, son Cade Carter of Beaumont and five beautiful grandgirls.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday evening, October 2, 2019 at 7PM at Riley Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 5-7PM. The family asks that you continue to pray for them during this difficult time.
