Lonnie Oliver, IV

Obituary of Lonnie Lloyd Oliver, IV

Lonnie Lloyd “Stretch” Oliver, IV passed away September 24, 2019.

Born in Jasper, Texas to Sonny and Laney Oliver, he lived in Tyler County all of his life.  He was a pipeliner by trade who never met a stranger and had a big beautiful smile and laugh that made people know he cared. He loved staying on the river in the houseboat fishing, hunting and spending time with his favorite person, his son.  He enjoyed family get togethers, playing the guitar and drawing.  He helped anyone who asked and this was proven by giving life back to others through being an organ donor.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his grandmother, Delores Ann Oliver.

He is survived by his loving son, Lonnie Lloyd Oliver, V; father, Lonnie Lloyd Oliver, III; mother, Laney Robinson Oliver; sisters, Stephany Sharp and husband, J. B. and Alexis Oliver; brother, Cody Oliver and wife, Reba; grandparents, Lonnie L. Oliver, Sr., Lonnie L. and Laverne Oliver, Jr. and James and Brenda Robinson; niece, Shelby Sharp; nephew, Bennie Sharp and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, September 29, 2019, at 4 pm at the Riley Funeral Home in Woodville with Brother Tommy Cunningham officiating.
