Obituary of Iris Willis-Chenault

Iris Willis-Chenault left to be with Jesus on August 31, 2019. Born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, she moved to Woodville as a child where she grew up and lived for the remainder of her life. While employed as a postal worker, she made many friends in the community. After retirement, she also became involved with local volunteer law opportunities. Although not physically able in her latter days, she was also very active within her church community.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Herbert and Grace Gardner; sister, Mary Lee Walton; and husbands, Allen Willis and Tom Chenault. She is survived by three step-daughters and god-daughter, Paula Jones; special friends, Naomi Tran and husband, Paul; Annette Sindle-Stagg and husband, John; Philip Stagg and wife, Krystal; sons and daughters of Betty Winter-Moore.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at 10 am at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ron officiating.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2019, from 9 am until 10 am at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville.
