Obituary of Louise Rawls Thompson
Louise Rawls Thompson, 94, of Woodville passed away August 19, 2019.
Born in Bronson, Texas to the late William and Auary Rawls, she lived in Tyler County for many years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew and loved her.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert “Bob” Thompson; son, Bobby Ray Thompson; brothers, Edward, John Boyt (Red) and Billie Jean Rawls.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Susie) Stevens and husband, Gene of Village Mills; son, LeRoy Davis of Doucette; sister, Ruby Knight of Groves; brother, Jim Rawls and wife, Jerrie of Woodville; grandsons, Christopher Thompson of Sulphur, LA, David Davis and wife, Jessica of Woodville, Byron Davis and fiancé, Kelsey of Woodville; Justin Smith and fiancé, Jessica of Warren; great grandchildren, Chrisitan Chenyworth, Roman Davis, Charlene Davis, Byron "Kakey" Davis, Aiden Gray, Jacob Cutrer, Brayden Cutrer, Lillie Davis, Austin Clark, Zoey Anderson and Tyler Foxworth; and numerous other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, August 25, 2019, at 10 am at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Ferrell Cemetery near Colmesneil. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Grimes, Jimmy Russell, Bo Treadway, Cory Knight, Christian Chenyworth and Roman Davis. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Byron "Kakey" Davis.
