Obituary of Mildred Fay Powell
Mildred Fay Powell, 69, of Woodville passed away August 5, 2019.
Born March 18, 1950 in Woodville, Texas to the late James and Vera Henry, she lived in Tyler County all of her life. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew and loved her.
Mildred is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, William (Pee Wee) Powell; sons, Michael Powell and Shawna Wood of Woodville and Rodney Powell of Woodville; sisters, Betty Henry and Pam Hunnicutt both of Woodville and Barbara Frankens of Diboll; brother, Raymond Henry of Woodville; grandchildren, Caleb Powel, Ryan Powell, Tanner Powell, Jacob Powell, Bladen Powell, Bailey Powell and Braxton Powell; and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 8, 2019, at 10 am at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Edwin Findley officiating. Burial will follow at the Rockland Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2019, from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Luke Powell, Mark Powell, Rodney Powell, Lloyd Hatcher, Bobby Perego and John James. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be William (Pee Wee) Powell, Caleb Powell, Ryan Powell, Tanner Powell, Jacob Powell, Bladen Powell, Braxton Powell and Bailey Powell.
