Obituary of Sheila Marie Gibson
Sheila Marie Clark Gibson, 63, of Woodville passed Monday, July 15, 2019 at home with her loving husband at her side.
Sheila was born to Joe and Arlene Clark on November 6, 1955 in Kountze, Texas. Sheila was raised is Silsbee where she attended and graduated Silsbee High in 1974. She thoroughly enjoyed flowers and they were something she made a career of, working as a floral manager for a number of years. Sheila enjoyed using her talents of loving and serving others by magnifying her calling in several church positions, which included Relief Society 2nd counselor, Primary teacher, and Family History Consultant. She loved and adored her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Clark and her son-in-law, Teddy Dietz.
She is survived by her loving husband, of 26 years, Daniel Oden Gibson; her mother, Mary Arlene “GG” Clark of Lufkin, Texas; her son, Christopher Arlon Hitchcock, Sr., and wife, Danika of Kingman, Arizona; her daughter Mary Caroline Haynes and husband, William “DD” of Angleton, Texas; siblings, Eddie Bill Clark of Lufkin, Texas, Barbara Jo Cryer of Lufkin, Texas, Sarah Louis Dietz of Lufkin, Texas, John Michael Clark of Port Arthur, Texas and Joe Allen Clark of Magnolia Springs, Texas; precious grandchildren, Allison Marie Hitchcock of Huntsville, Texas, Destiny Ann Haynes and Joseph Blayne Haynes of Angleton, Texas and Christopher Arlon “Sonny” Hitchcock, Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
