Obituary of Norma Patton Werner

Norma Florence Patton Werner, 93, of Warren passed away Thursday June 27, 2019. She was born December 20, 1925 in Beaumont, Texas to the late William Bryan Patton and Florence Wright Patton she lived in Warren for many years.  Norma retired from the Warren ISD as a dietician and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Warren, Texas.  

Norma is survived by her loving children, John Alan Werner and Rebecca Werner Burns of Warren; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; multiple nieces, nephews and greats and numerous other family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Ernest L. Werner; sons, Robert Ernest Werner and David Lee Werner; and brother, William B. Patton Sr.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Burns, Shane Burns, John Scott Gilchrist, Brandon Burns, Michael Werner, and Skyler Moore.

Honorary pallbearers include Ronald Burns, J. Daniel Burns, Kevin Burns, Devin Werner, and Jason Werner.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019, from 5 – 7 pm at the Bethel Baptist Church in Warren, Tx.  Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 pm at the church.  A graveside service will be held Sunday at 4 pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4955 Pine St., Beaumont, Texas 77703.
