Obituary of Lewis Crawford Cotton

Lewis Crawford Cotton, 90, of Houston passed away Friday, June 14, 2019. He was born October 18, 1929 in Geneva, Alabama to the late T.D. and Mollie Jane Cotton.

He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran who served in Korea.

Lewis is survived by his son, Gary Cotton and late wife Judy; Daughter Jeannie Swanson and husband, Tom; grandchildren, Jamie and Jim Washburn, David and Sherry Cotton. Belinda and Tony Kutcher, Dena Rendon, Christina Rendon, Veronica and Harrison Freedman Aaron and Chevonne Potter, Brandon and Bryn Potter, Stephanie and Steven Hall, Eric and Deanna Swanson; great-grandchildren, Tristan, Amy, Katie, Cheyanne, April, Jacob, Brian, Toby, Summer, Ruby, Pearl, Asher, Zion, Lauren, Emily, Bryce, Brayden, Brinn, Wesley, Tristan, Taylor, Megan, and Monica; daughter-in-law, Gwen Cotton; Brothers and Sisters. Frank and Sarah, Ruth and John, Betty and David, Buddy “Art” Cotton, Lilli and Bob, and Patricia and Earnie; and numerous other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 2PM at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Woodville Texas. A visitation will be held prior to the graveside service at the Riley Funeral Home chapel from 12-1:30 PM.

Services are held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home and Crematorium.
