Obituary of Kelvin Lee Sims

Kelvin Lee Sims, 64, of Woodville passed away June 4, 2019.

Born October 27, 1954 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Quinton Lee and Doris Marie Sims, he was a retired operator for Ameripol Synpol.  Kelvin served in the U. S. Army and also worked for Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department for a short period.  He was a loving and devoted family man and a friend to all who knew and loved him.

Kelvin is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Sims; daughter, Ashley Sims of Port Neches; step-daughter, Courtney Smith of Buna; grandchildren, Colby Dixon of Port Neches; step grandchildren, Baylee, Brooke and Hunter; brother, Glenn Sims and wife, Elaina of Port Neches; niece, Amanda Solis of Austin; nephew, Trevor Sims of Conroe and many other family members and friends.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, June 6, 2019, at 11 am at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Woodville.  Visitation will begin at 10 am Thursday at the cemetery
