Obituary of John Travis Mettlen

John Travis Mettlen, 70, of Warren, passed away Wednesday May 7, 2019. He was born July 12, 1948 in Jacksonville, Texas to the late Juanita and Frank Mettlen.

He is survived by his daughter, Deanna Mettlen of Lufkin; sons, John Travis Mettlen Jr. of Lufkin, Jason Lynn Mettlen and wife Jodie of New Iberia, Jonathan Kyle Mettlen and wife Liylah of Fred ; grandchildren, Crystal Rodriguez, Mary Rodriguez, Abby Sanders, Ashley Mettlen, Jacob Mettlen and fiancé Ashlynne, Dakota Mettlen, James Mettlen, Jacey Mettlen, and Jax Mettlen; 1 great grandchild; family member Carla McNeel, and numerous other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Egypt Cemetery in Colmesneil, Friday, May 10, 2019 at 10am.

Services are held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home and Crematory.
