Obituary of Carlene Whitman

Carlene Whitman, 57, of Spurger passed away peacefully on March 31, 2019.

Born January 1, 1962 in Groves, Tx to James and Coral Davis, she lived in Spurger for many years.  She was a loved and was devoted to her family and friends and was loved by all who knew and loved her.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Spurger who served her Lord and Savior and put her trust in him.

Carlene was preceded in death by her father, James Davis.

She is survived by her ex-husband, Wesley Whitman of Spurger; son, William Jordan Whitman and wife, Kerri of Port Neches; daughters, Whitney Bielecki of Spurger and Chelsea Parrish and husband, Christopher of Spurger; mother, Coral Davis of Nederland; brothers, Kim Davis of Houston and Merrell Davis of Nederland; grandchildren, Callie Whitman, Ariel Whitman-Smith, Taylor and Mae Bielecki; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A grave side service will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at 11 am at the Beech Creek Cemetery in Spurger with Brother Cole Clark officiating.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2019, from 5 till 8 pm at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Landavazo, Mike Minter, Ellis Jones, Jim Zachary, Matthew smith, Jeremy Buckner, Bryan Collier, Zachary Zachary.  Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Morales and Billy Petree.
