Obituary of Joe Oliver Goode

Joe O. Goode, 92, of Colmesneil passed away Friday January 4, 2019. He was born on May 18, 1926 in Rockland, Texas to the late Osker Goode and Ruby Williamson Goode.

Joe attended Sam Houston State University where he received his diesel mechanic certificate. He retired as an operating engineer at Local #450 in Nederland.

He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn Goode of Colmesneil; daughters, Cynthia Goode of Huntsville, Brenda West of Beaumont; and numerous other family members and friends.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Patricia Goode; sisters, Ruth Hensarling, Mary Marshall, and Ruby Jemison; and brothers, Robert and William Goode.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday January 6, 2019 at 2:30 PM with a 2PM visitation at the Colmesneil City Cemetery.
