Obituary of Edward Cecil Pickett

Edward C. “Eddie” Pickett, 68 of Warren passed away June 13, 2014 at his home. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday June 16, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Warren with Brother Ken Cauthen and Brother Troy Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Village Mills Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday June 15, 2014 from 5-7 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Warren. Eddie was born November 14, 1945 in LaCounte, LA. to Robert Pickett and Gladys “Davis” Pickett Hamm they have preceded him in death as well as a son Kenneth Ferguson. He is survived by his Wife Bernice Pickett of Warren, four sons; Edward C. Pickett of and wife Beth of Bundix Lake, LA. Michael Pickett and wife Rita of Iowa LA. Danny Ferguson and friend Bernice Mitchell of Longview, TX. Barry Ferguson and wife Sandra of Ivanhoe, TX. three daughters; Martha “Cissy” Castilaw and husband Paul of Kountze, TX. Becky Ferguson and friend Jim Gautreaux of Warren, TX. Darla Overstreet and husband Carl Jr. of Ivanhoe, TX. 26 Grandchildren , 33 Great Grandchildren, sister Marie Thomas of Etoille, TX. brother, Travis Waldrop of West Lake, LA. and several Nieces and Nephews Serving as pallbears are his grandsons Corey Pickett, Brett Pickett, Jordan Pickett, Casey Kelly, Kenny Ferguson and Josh Ferguson.
