Obituary of John Edward Clarence Sanderson
John Edward Clarence Sanderson, 74, of Colmesneil passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018. He was born December 13, 2018 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Edward William Sanderson and Mary Jo Bedord Sanderson. He was a self employed building contractor who was known throughout the county for his work and dedication to the people he served. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Sanderson of Colmesneil; son, Dan Sanderson and wife Tanya of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Denise Forse and husband Anthony of Pineland, Martin Sanderson and wife Andrea of Bridge City, John Sanderson and wife Haleigh of Evadale, Cecelia Sullivan and husband Ben of Richton MS, and Aaron Sanderson; great-grandchildren, Gabriella Collins, Haylee Forse, Karalyne Forse, Jamie Green, Oliver Sanderson, Eli Sullivan, Lillie Sullivan, and Ava Sullivan; stepchildren, Eric Johnston of Virginia, Daniel Johnston of Fort Worth, and Cera Johnston of Georgia.
John is preceded in death by his parents, son, John Edward Clarence “Eddie” Sanderson, sister, Dorothy Sanderson, and his beloved first wife Betty Sanderson.
Serving as pallbearers will be John Sanderson, Martin Sanderson, Aaron Sanderson, Sam Barber, Paul Barber, and Michael Nanney.
Visitation will be held Thursday. December 13, 2018 at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel from 5-7 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Our Lady of The Pines Catholic Church at 10AM with father Rossi officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Town Bluff.
