Obituary of Clifford Cecil Haygood Sr.

Clifford Cecil Haygood, Sr., 75, of Warren passed away on November 25, 2018.

Born May 17, 1943 in Leesville, LA to the late Cecil and Verdrue Horn Haygood, he lived in Warren for many years.  He was a self-employed paint contractor.  He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew and loved him.  He loved hunting and fishing and hanging out on the sand bar on the river with family and friends.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Lavelle Haygood, sister, Gerald Denease Haygood, and nephew, Daniel Seago.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Haygood; sons, Terrell Haygood and wife, Carina of Colmesneil, Derrell Haygood and wife Lisa of Burnett, Tx and Clifford Haygood, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Jennifer Anderson of Granbury; special daughter, Rhonda Boerner and husband, Walt of Warren; sister, Melody Daigle and husband, Steve of Warren; grandchildren, Dana Armstrong and husband, Robert, Jason Haygood, Macie Haygood, Hailey Haygood, Cameron and Caiden, Chase Haygood, Tori Green, Hunter Haygood, Hannah Haygood, Matthew Haygood, Misty Anderson, Zac Anderson, Conagher Anderson, Julia Barnhart and husband, Jimmy, Trystan Evans and Harli Evans; 14 great – grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Trystan Evans, Jason Haygood, Conagher Anderson, Chase Haygood, Zac Anderson, and Michael “little Mike” Seago.

Funeral service will be held Thursday on their 50th Wedding Anniversary, November 29, 2018, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ken Durham officiating.  Burial will follow at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Woodville.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
