Obituary of Mary Evelyn Allen

Mary Evelyn Allen, 84, of Colmesneil passed away October 13, 2018. 

Known by family and friends as Evelyn or Aunt E, she was born March 31,1934, in Beaumont to the late Fred Lee Allen and Mary Lee Allen. She Loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and was long time resident of Colmesneil. She retired from Tyler County Landfill and Woodville Collection Center after many years of dedicated service.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Fred Allen Jr, sister in law Jerry Allen; brother in laws, Dub Albritton and Willie LaGrone; and longtime loving friend, Lonnie Bell Derwin.

She is survived by her sisters, Juanita Allen Albritton of Pasadena, Minnette Allen LaGrone of Colmesneil; brothers, R. G. Allen and wife Elsie of Nederland and Rogers Allen and wife Mackie of Fannett; along with numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Davis Cemetery in Colmesneil, TX, Thursday, October 18, 2018, at 2pm.
