Obituary of Guiula Mahaffey

Guiula Mahffey, 97, of Beaumont passed away August 27, 2018.

Born August 4, 1921 in Chester, Texas to the late John Hix Mahaffey and Emily Wynon Williamson, she grew up in Chester and live most of her life in Beaumont, Tx.  He was a retired secretary.

Guiula was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Johnnie Lee and husband, Gilder, Sr and a niece, Johnnie Cecilia Clark.

She is survived by a nephew, Gilder Burke Lee, Jr. of Beaumont; nephew-in-law, Ronald Clark of Conroe; and two great nephews, Ronald Alexander Clark and John Christopher Clark and numerous other family members.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 5 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at the Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville.  Visitation will be held Saturday from 3 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
