Obituary of Tracy Nichols

Tracy McAvin Nichols of Woodville went to heaven August 23, 2018.  She was born on August 16, 1967 in Omaha, Nebraska to Jimmie and Linda Estes. 

Tracy was a loving daughter, mother, sister and friend who had a big heart and loved her family and friends very much.  She looked at the world with an open mind and open heart always seeing the good in people.  She loved to paint, do arts and crafts and spend time with her family and grandchildren. 

Her family loves and misses her very much but knows that she is in a better place looking down on us smiling.

Tracy is survived by her loving family, parents, Jimmie and Linda Estes; daughters, Ashley Martinez and husband, Jonathan, Carrie Meadors and husband, Michael and Amber Martinez; son, Josh Herod; sisters, Cindy Burns and Carol Whitaker and husband, Timmy; brother, Gene McAvin and wife, Elisa; grandchildren, Dylen, Austin, Ja’kari, MIcheal, and Nicholas; nieces, Emiley and Cheyenne; nephews, Matt, Toby, Wyatt and Chris; and a host of other family members and friends.

 A memorial service will be held Friday, August 31, 2018, at 11 am at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville, Texas.
