Obituary of Versia Mae Mullins

Versia Mae Mullins, 90, of Warren passed away May 20, 2018.

Born September 18, 1927 in Boise, Louisiana, she was raised in Warren.  After marrying Rufus Mullins Sr., they lived in Nederland before moving to Silsbee where they raised their family.  After retirement Versia and Rufus moved back to Warren to enjoy their remaining time together.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew and loved her.

Versia is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Mullins, Sr. and a son Jimmy Mullins

She is survived by her sons, Dock Mullins and wife, Lou Ann and Rufus Mullins, Jr. and wife, Sharon; daughters, Beverly Williams and husband, Roy and Patsy Spurlock and husband, Homer; sister, Audrey Riley; sisters-in-law, Betty Nichols, Katherine Nichols and Sherry Jean Nichols; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Warren City Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1 pm until 2 pm at the funeral home.
