Obituary of Marie Cannatella

Marie Bennett Cannatella, 88, of Woodville passed away April 1, 2018.

Born July 13, 1929 in Rogers, Texas to the late George and Cornelia Bennett, she lived in Woodville for many years.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew and loved her.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph Lee Cannatella, grandson, Curt Deshotel and both brothers.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Joy Cannatella Crane and husband, Tommy of Woodville; son, Charles Ray Cannatella of Sulphur, LA; grandchildren, Ashlee’ Elizabeth Crane and Allison Faith Crane both of Woodville and Bryan Micheal Cannatella of Sulphur, LA; great grandchildren, Destin Savoy, Curt Micheal Cannatella, Bladan East and Caden Duplechain; and numerous other family members and friends.

A grave side service will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018, at 11 am at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Woodville with Brother Steven Baker officiating.  Visitation will held Thursday from 10 am until 11 am at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Dannar, Bob Dannar, Zach Baker, Bobbie Hopson, Destin Savoy and Bryan Cannatella.
