Obituary of James Eldridge Bingham
James Eldridge Bingham, 82, of Spurger passed away February 20, 2018.
Born May 16, 1935 in Tyler County to the late George and Alice Mock Bingham, he lived in Spurger for many years. He was a retired salesman. James was a member of the First Baptist Church in Spurger and a member of the Snow River Masonic Lodge and a life time member of the Cattleman’s Association.
James was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Debra Kay McKinley and a brother, Richard Bingham.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Ruth Bingham; son, Kent Bingham; daughters, Marcia Bingham Dunovan and Sara Bingham Scott; grandchildren, David Bingham, Laura Bingham Nickoli, Tisha Keel Heathman, Whitney Scott Stark and Brooke Scott; seven great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 11 am at the First Baptist Church in Spurger with burial to follow at Beech Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 from 5 pm until 8 pm at the First Baptist Church in Spurger.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chip Appleton, David Bingham, Cody Kane, Frank Pierce, Darrell Waldrep and Bill Whitman.
