Obituary of Bettie Joyce Tolar

Bettie Joyce Tolar, 88, of Tomball passed away January 12, 2018.

Born August 9, 1929 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Howard and Irene Talbot Harris, she lived in Tomball for many years.  She was a retired legal secretary. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Tolar; son, George Michael Harris; sister, Barbara Dollar.

Bettie is survived by her loving family, daughters, George Ann Tolar Ferguson of Newton and Judy Tolar of Newton; sons, Ron Harris and wife, Shirley of Tomball and Rev. Judson “Sandy” Tolar and wife, Rev. Trina Tolar of Montana; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Friday, January 19, 2018, at 1 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Allison Cemetery in Warren, Texas.  Visitation will be held Friday from 12 noon until the time of the service.
