Obituary of Frances Elizabeth Shillings

Frances Elizabeth Shillings, 83, of Livingston passed away December 17, 2017.

Born March 5, 1934 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Mayon and Uldene Hankins Fant, she lived in Livingston for many years.  She was retired from J. C. Penney in sales.  She was a loving and devoted minster's wife of 64 years, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew and loved her.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Edwina Driggers and a brother, Mayon (Shorty Boy) Fant.

She is survived by her loving husband, Allen Shillings; daughter, Judy Payne and husband, Mike of Henderson, Texas; son, Eddie Shillings and wife, Pam of Houston; grandchildren, Jennifer Barr and husband, Terry of Katy, Tx, Jonathan Shillings, James Shillings and Lenna Shillings all of Houston; great grandchildren, Brendan and Megan; sisters, Jeraldine Graham of Las Vegas, Debbie Dickey and husband, Allen of Lumberton, Wanda Hennigan and husband, Jim of Vidor; brother, David Perkins of New Ulm, Tx; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday, December 22, 2017, at 10 am at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Robert Smith and Brother Quentin Matthews officiating.  Burial will follow at the Colmesneil City Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday from 9 am until the time of the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Shillings, Jonathan Shillings, Mike Payne, Garon Bates, Kenneth Swinney and Lynn Hendrix.
