Obituary of Lela La Vera Caruthers

~~Lela La Vera Caruthers, 77, of Warren passed away December 4, 2017.
Born June 20, 1940 in Gorman, Texas he lived in Warren for many years.  She was a retired operator system tech for AT&T.  She was the first female to climb a telephone pole.  An accomplishment she was proud of.
La Vera is survived by her daughter, Patricia Michele Conant of Odessa; sons, Jimmy Calvin Caruthers and Robert James Caruthers, Jr. both of Warren; grandchildren, Beverly, Misty, Misty June, Dylan, Layton, Tony, James, Jaycen, Jessica, Chelsey, Jacob, Kimberly, Kristy and Opal and fifteen great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Friday, December 8, 2017, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother John Griffin officiating.  Visitation will be held from 1 pm until the time of the service.
Services are held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.
