Obituary of Arthur Benson Cogbill

Arthur Benson “Bud” Cogbill, 85, of Woodville passed away July 18, 2017 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born October 29, 1031 in Deport, Texas, he lived in Vidor for many years before moving to Woodville.  He was retired from Dupont Refinery as a supervisor and was an Army Veteran.  He was a member of the Tyler County Country Church. Bud loved is guitars and playing Bluegrass Music. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew and loved him.

Bud is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Beth Cogbill; daughters, Susie Winn and husband, David and Cindy Cogbill all of Woodville; grandchildren, Chris Winn of Woodville, Nick Winn and wife, Christy of Mauriceville, Matt Winn and wife, Danielle of Woodville, Alex Cogbill and wife, Jillian of Silsbee, Eliz and Phillip Pullen of Woodville, Dalli DeLord and husband, Brian of Warren ;nineteen great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday, July 21, 2017, at 11 am at Riley Funeral Home with Brother Kevin Trinkle officiating.  A graveside service will be held Friday at 3 pm at Restlawn Cemetery in Vidor, Tx.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 pm until 9 pm at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers are Chris Winn, Nick Winn, Matt Winn, Alex Cogbill, Phillip Pullen and Brian DeLord
