Obituary of Gertie Joe Warren

~~Gertie Joe Warren, 85 years old, of Crandall, Tx passed away on July 3, 2017 after a long battle with lung cancer.
She was born February 11, 1932 in Spurger, Tx to Mollie and Frank Collier.  She was married for 43 years to her husband, Joseph Warren, who preceded her in death by 23 years.  Gertie was a bookkeeper until she retired.  Her favorite hobby was quilting.  Most of her skillful creations were gifted to her family members who treasure her labors of love.
Gertie is survived by two sons, Terry Warren and Thomas Warren; one daughter, Deborah Ard; one brother, Richard Collier and two sisters, Mary Shaw and Joyce Geiger.  Gertie has thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great, great  grandchild.
A memorial service, followed by a potluck, will be held at 10 am Saturday, July 8th, at Abner Baptist Church on 6877 FM 2727, Kaufman, Tx 75142.
