Obituary of Edward John Jeoffroy

Edward John Jeoffroy, 82, of Warren passed away peacefully on June 17, 2017.

Born December 8, 1934 in Hankamer, Texas to the late Ewing and Edith Jeoffroy, he lived in Warren since 1992.  Mr. Jeoffroy graduated from Anahuac High School, after High School he went to Lamar for a year before going into the Army where he was a paratrooper in the 82nd  Division . After being discharged in 1956 he attended and graduated Lamar Technical School as an Electrician. His first job after college was at Texas Gulf Sulfur plant in Beaumont for 19 years. He also worked for the Fina refinery in Port Arthur for 19 years before his retirement in 1992.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving family his wife, Janice Jeoffroy; daughter, Pamela Placette of Lumberton; grandson, Richard Placette and wife Heather of Port Neches; brother, David Jeoffroy of Anahuac; sister, Linda Mattlock of Minnesota; and a host of other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017, at 10:30 am at Middleton Memorial United Methodist Church of Wallisville, 2241 Wallisville Liberty Road, Wallisville, TX, 77597.   Officiating the service will be Brother Kenn Munn. 

Services are held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.
