Obituary of Clarence Murphy Williams
Clarence Murphy Williams, 81, of Livingston passed away peacefully on May 17, 2017.
Born December 5, 1935 in Polk County, Tx to the late Ralph and Dora Sylestine Williams, he lived in Polk County all of his life. He was a Tribal member of the Alabama Coushatta Indian Reservation. He retired as a maintenance man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who all knew and loved him.
Clarence preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ora Williams; daughters, Elizabeth Williams and Elaine Williams; son, Quentin Williams, Brothers, Edgar Williams and Merrill Williams; and sisters, Delma Williams, Loyce Williams, Marilyn Williams.
He is survived by his loving family, brothers, Sherman Williams, Kenneth Williams and wife, Millie, Roy Williams and wife, Judy, Dolen Williams and wife, Mary all of Livingston; granddaughter, Kelli Smith and husband, Kyle of Lumberton; grandsons, Phillip Abbey, Noah Wilkerson and Chesson Williams all of Livingston; great grandchildren, Jamie and Logan Smith both of Lumberton; adopted brother, Hawk Guebara of Orange; and numerous other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, May 21, 2017, at 2 pm at the Indian Village Assembly of God Church with Brother David Busby officiating. Burial will follow at the Indian Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017, from 6 pm until 9 pm at the funeral home.
