Obituary of Carl C. Redmon, Sr.

Carl C. Redmon, Sr. passed from this life at the age 85, on April 18, 2017. He was a long time residence of Spurger, TX. He was born on September 29, 1931 in Leggett Community in Mississippi to P.T. and Sula Redmon. Survived by son, Carl (Bubba) Redmon and wife, Linda of Silsbee; daughter, JuanellCaillier and husband, Glenn of Spurger; grandchildren: Robert (Robby) Redmon and wife Casey of Pt. Neches; Lucinda Dissanayake of Baytown; Joshua Redmon and wife, Jeralee of Sprintown; Stephanie Garza of Silsbee; LaurandaCaillier of Spurger; and Zachary Caillierof Spuger and 7 great grandchildren – Ayden, Cheyenne, Abbymae, Xander, Kaitlyn, Alex, &Louis; multiple nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Proceeded in death by wife of 48 years, Laurie Glynell Hicks Redmon; children, Sue Redmon and Cindy Redmon. Also proceeded in death by 3 brothers, and 6 sisters. The funeral arrangments are as follows; Thursday, 4/20/17 visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm at Riley’s Funeral Home on Hwy 190 in Woodville, TX. Funeral service will be on Friday, 4/21/17 at 11am at Riley’s Funeral Home also. Place of interment is Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger.
