Obituary of John Ridgeway Craven

John Ridgeway Craven passed away on March 31, 2017 in Woodvile, Tx at the age 90. He was born I Hendersonville, N.C. He was a veteran of WWII n the U.S. Navy. After serving his time with the Navy, he served in the National Guard. He lived on the east coast until he settled in Texas in 1961. He worked for NASA until he retired at 55. His second career was working as a locksmith for 10 years in the Houston area. He moved to Ivanhoe in 2010 where he did volunteer work in the community. He is survived by his sister, Louise Crutchfield Turner of Richardson, Tx and children, Lottie Kay McCulley, Nancy Lee Graven and John Richard Craven and wife, Alethea Craven. He is survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home in Woodville with Brother Mark Toler officiating. He will be buried next ot his wife at South Park in Pearland, Texas.
