Obituary of Lula Mae Parrish

Lula Mae Parrish, 82, of Hillister passed away peacefully March 28, 2017. Born March 16, 1935 in Broaddus, Tx to the late Harrell and Hazel Williams Mixon, she lived in Hillister for many years. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew and loved her. Lula is survived by her loving children, Patricia Ann Parrish Davis of Pearland, Benjamin Duayne Parrish and wife, Glenda of Hillister and Jacqueline McGowan and husband, James of Livingston; grandchildren, Robert Davis and wife, Julie of League City, Randy Davis and wife Sarah of Kyle, Michelle Longsworth and husband, Michael of HIllister, Ben Michael Parrish and wife, Mareasa of Maple Grove, Minn, Mark Rainwater and wife, Angela of Killeen, Daryl Parrish of Fairview Heights, ILL and Catherine Parrish of Nacogdoches; great grandchildren, Katelyn, Tyler, Desire, Blaze, Avery, Alexis, Logan, Colton, Aria, Easton and Adalynne; and numerous other family members and friends. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 31, 2017, at 11 am at Riley Funeral Home with Brother Fred McGowan officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2 pm at the Runnells Cemetery in Broaddus, Tx. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 30, 2017, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
