Obituary of W. L. Goode

W. L. (Buddy) Goode, 89, of Woodville passed away peacefully on March 19, 2017. Born February 2, 1928 in Woodville, Tx to the late John Henry and Resa Keifer Goode, he lived in Tyler County all of his life. He was a retired forester for International Paper. He loved the Lord and his family with all of his heart. He was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Jane McKee; brother, Clovis Goode, J. W. Goode and Levi Goode. Buddy leaves behind to cherish his memory, brother, Jessi Fort of Willis; numerous nieces, nephews other family members and friends. Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017, at 3 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Steve Baker officiating. Burial will follow at the Pilgrim Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 pm until the time of the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Goode, Mike Goode, Johnny Goode, Lewis McCarty, Curtis (Tater) Duhon, Daniel Durr, Johnathon Durr and David Durr.
