Obituary of Sara Ann Best

Sara Ann Best, 81, of Woodville passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side on January 19, 2017. Born May 27, 1935 in Winnsboro, Tx to the late Seab and Willie Hensarling Davis, she lived in Woodville for many years. She worked most of her life as a secretary. She loved her family and spending time with them. Sara enjoyed the outdoors and especially she loved butterflies because of their beauty and splendor. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, French Earl Best. Sara leaves to cherish memory her children, Diane Rucks of Colmesneil, Rocky Hensarling and wife, Tewanna of Colmesneil and Pat McKee and husband, Jerry of Warren; grandchildren, Angie and Bill Noel, David Rucks, Tammy and Wayne Gay, Jason and Tiffany Hensarling, Sirena and Jason Mahaffey, Brian and Stephanie Hensarling, Brandon McKee and Hannah Linscomb, Joey and Diana McKee, Brent and Kim McKee; twenty-two great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends. Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 22, 2017, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Clark Mahoney and Brother Keith Bellamy officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017, from 5 pm until 7 pm at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Andrew Mahaffey, Wayne Gay, Austin Rucks, Brandon McKee, Brian Hensarling and Joey McKee. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jerrod McKee, Tracer Hensarling and David Rucks.
