Obituary of Sylvia Joyce Watts

Sylvia Joyce Watts, 80, of Woodville passed away November 10, 2016. Born in Raymond, Mississippi to the late Marion Bradley and Dorothy Chapman, she lived in Beaumont where she graduated from French High School. In 1968, she and her family moved to Chester and then in 1979 to Woodville. She was a talented artist and taught classes at Angelina College and the Emporium in Woodville. Sylvia brought the beauty of art to many in her own paintings and her love of teaching art to others. She is preceded in death by her parents; step father, Marion Eugene Buster; husband, Ronald Dean Watts, Sr. and a son, Ronald Dean Watts, Jr. Sylvia is survived by her loving family, sister, Marion Royston and husband, Jerry; brother, Glen Bradley and wife, Patsy; children, Wendy and Richard Novack and Ted and Dottie Watts; grandchildren, Megan Word and husband, Tyler, Madison Stafford and husband, Jake, Katelyn Watts, Nicole Novack and Allison Novack; great grandson, Luke Word; step brothers, Damion Buster and wife, Dianne, David Buster and wife, Susan; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 2 pm at the Enon Baptist Church in Chester with Brother Larry Trest officiating.
