Obituary of Ricky Dwayne Brown

Ricky Brown, Jr. was born to Ricky Brown, Sr and Linda Self. He lived most of his life in Colmesneil, Texas where he graduated high school. Ricky loved working on oil rigs and automobiles. He loved to cut trees and to fish but most of all Little Ricky loved helping people. He always tried to make everyone happy and he never met a stranger. He was always full of life and lived everyday like it was his last. Ricky is survived by his wife, Meagen Brown; children, Deonna Brown, Dalton Brown, Clayton Brown and Charity Brown; siblings, Jimmy Clowers and wife, Amie, Carl McFarland, Jason Clowers, Larry and Tiffany Skinner, Ginger Brown, Jonnie Clowers Kandy Freeney and husband, Kenneth and Linda Munguia; thirty-two nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Julia and Carol Self; grandparents, Odean and Benny Brown; mother, Linda McFarland; sister, Julie Taylor; brother, John W. Clowers. Funeral service will be held Sunday, November 13, 2016, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Rockland City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016, from 5 pm until 7pm at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Anthony Guerin, P.J. Brown, Carl McFarland, Larry Skinner, Jesse Paul Brown, and Kenneth Freeney. Honorary pallbearer will be Johnathan Ramirez.
