Obituary of Myrtle Frances Brandin

Myrtle Frances Brandin, 70, of Woodville, TX passed away August 25, 2016. She was born on March 28, 1946 in Port Arthur, TX to Jim and Aubrey Wood Walker. Myrtle graduated from Warren High School in 1964 where she was a member of the band. She was a member of the Tyler County CB Club, the Dogwood Square Dancers, and Rainbow Girls. Myrtle was a beautician and owner of Cutter Cove. She will be missed by all who loved her. Myrtle is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Robert Brandin; sister Rose Savant; daughters Lisa McKinnon and husband Dana, Sharon Brooks; son James Brandin and wife Glenda; grandchildren Lesleigh Thomas, Haley Brandin, Nikki Reyna, Lane Brandin, Amber Shrum, Kaitlyn Shrum; and eight great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel. Services are scheduled for 10 am on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Riley Funeral Home followed by burial at Zavalla City Cemetery. Brother Stephen McBride will preside. Serving as pallbearers are Bobby Greer, Richard Johnston, D.B. Thompson, Jr., Frank Thompson, D.B. Dean, and Roy Mott. Honorary pallbearer is Roy Chance.
