Obituary of Johnie Rae Cecil

Johnie Rae Cecil, 76, of Warren passed away peacefully on June 19, 2016. Born September 1, 1939 in Warren, Tx to the late Gordie and Bertie Gant McMillian, she lived in Warren all of her life. She was known as “Nonnie” whose door was always open and a shoulder to cry on. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J. R. Cecil, Sr.; daughter, Ramona Dawn Banks; sister, Glenda McMillian; grandson, Julian Armond Cecil. Johnie is survived by her loving children, Carrie Banks and husband, Bo, J. R. Cecil, Coye Renea Austin, Julie Crawford and husband, Junior, Gordie Hilyard Cecil, Amanda Marie Cecil, Denise Michelle Cecil and David Klumpp; twenty-two grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great, great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 26, 2016, at 11 am at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel.
