Obituary of Lola Diane Thomas
Diane Thomas, 63, of Danbury, Tx passed away May 10, 2016 in Galveston, Texas.
Born February 27, 1953 in Sanderson, TX to the late Jesse and Rebecca Street Commander, she lived in Hardin County for many years before moving to Danbury, TX. She was an administrative assistant for Silsbee Propane. She was a beloved member of the Order of the Eastern Star Spurger Chapter #315.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 33 years, Jerry Gill.
She is survived by her loving family, husband, Robert Thomas of Danbury; daughters, Lola Blosser and husband, Jeff of Houston, Eva Key and husband, Rob of Danbury; son, Jesse Gill and wife, Alicia of Danbury; sisters, Jeannie Stanley and Carol Commander; grandchildren, Caleb Blosser, Tyler Thrasher, Jesse David Key, Dimmie Gill, Candace Blosser, Nicholas Gill, Ashton Gill, Megan Guillory, Steven Key, Braeden Gill, Hunter Gill and Liam Gill; great grandchildren, Gabriella Blosser and Adalynn Thrasher; and a host of other family members and friends.
Services will be conducted by Brother Bubba Sheffield at Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville at 10 am with visitation one hour before the start of services. She will be laid to rest at Lakeside Cemetery at Town Bluff. Serving as pallbearers are Rob Key, Caleb Blosser, Tyler Thrasher, Jesse David Key, Dimmie Gill, and Nicholas Gill.
