She entered the world bringing joy to all
Happy and curious and oh so small
A childhood filled with love and laughter, hopes and dreams
She danced and played in the sunlight and recalled her time under moonbeams
Her daily prayers she spoke with humility
A heart at peace, she spoke with gentility
She grew to be a woman of quiet modesty
A faithful soul, a person of rare quality
With family and friends, she shared God’s Word
And smiled when she spoke of one day having wings like a bird
A part of herself she has joyfully shared
Her love for each of us readily declared
To Heaven now she carries our love
As she ascends to paradise on the wings of a dove
