Obituary of Regina Lynn Thompson

Regina Lynn Carter Thompson, 58, of Zavalla passed away peacefully on April 5, 2016. Born May 11, 1957 in Houston, Tx to Melvin and Peggy Dannar Carter, she worked for Home Health. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Melvin D. Carter. Regina is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Thompson; brother, Martin R. Carter of Zavalla, sons, Richard D. Woods of Rosharon and Steven Lynn Woods of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Tristian Ray Woods, Kayla Renae Woods, Shelby Lynn Woods, Genny Lynn Woods and JaLynn Woods. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Chester. Visitation will be held Saturday from 12 noon until the time of the service.
