Obituary of Ashley Dawn Baldwin

Jesus wrapped his arms around Ashley and welcomed her home Wednesday, March 30, 2016. She was born March 9, 1987. Ashley was preceded in death by her grandfather T.C. Parrish of Diboll, Texas; Thurston Delray Baldwin of Longville, Louisiana; Clara Nell Sirmons of Colmesneil; uncle Jerry Parrish of Colmesneil; and aunt Tonya Gaspard of Arkansas. Ashley is survived by her Mom and Dad, Gloria and James Wood of Colomesneil; father Danny Baldwin of Colmesneil; grandmother Patsy Shirley of Colmesneil; daughters Bryanna and Kennedy Neyland of Colmesneil; son Cliff Neyland of Colmesneil; sisters Darla Fountain of Colmesneil and Dana Rawls and husband Marcus of Oakwood, Texas; brother James Wood, Jr. of Lufkin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ashley will be remembered for her love of life and free spirited will, her singing voice, and her love of being outdoors and doing fun things. And most of all, for her smile and saying, “I Love You”. Services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Katy Baptist Church in Colmesneil, TX with Brother Bubba Sheffield and Brother Luther Rains officiating. Visitation is from 1:00 pm until the services begin. Serving as pallbearers are Chad Parrish, Dylan Rogers, Michael Hanna, Marcus Rawls, Buster Luna, and James Shirley. She will be laid to rest at Colmesneil City Cemetery.
