Obituary of John Edward Clarence Sanderson II

John Edward (Eddie) Clarence Sanderson II, 50, of Woodville, TX passed away January 6, 2016. He will be missed by all who loved him. Eddie was born on April 28, 1965 in Galveston, TX to John Edward Clarence Sanderson and Betty Louise Yelton Sanderson. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America where he reached Eagle Scout status. He was an electrician by trade. Eddie was preceded in death by his Mother, Betty Sanderson. He is survived by his wife, Vicky Sanderson of Woodville; son Aaron Sanderson of San Marcos; daughter Cecilia Sanderson Sullivan and husband Ben of Mississippi; grandson Eli Sullivan and granddaughters Lilian Sullivan and Ava Sullivan of Mississippi; father John Edward Clarence Sanderson and stepmother Diane Sanderson of Colmesneil; brother Dan Sanderson of Beaumont; aunt Rose Barber and uncle Albert Barber of Dam B, aunt Lydia Erb of New Caney, and aunt Laurie Jones of Galveston; niece Denise Sanderson of Pineland; nephews Martin Sanderson of Vidor and John Sanderson of Beaumont. Visitation will be held at Riley Funeral Home on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 5-7 pm. Services are scheduled for Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 2pm at the funeral home with Brother Terry Modeset officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery at Town Bluff. Serving as pallbearers are Johnny Foxworth, Paul Barber, John Sanderson, Jonathan Hare, Sammy Barber, Scott Martin, and John Crosby. Honorary pallbearer is Albert Barber.
